Data Deletion Instructions

You can ask Smoke & Study to delete your smoke.study account and all the personal information we hold about you at any time. This applies whether you signed in with Facebook, Google, or an email address and password.

What we delete

• Your account and sign-in records with Auth0, our sign-in provider
• The name, email address, and profile picture we received from Facebook or Google when you signed in
• Your profile: nickname, "about" description, and profile photo
• Your name and photo wherever they appear as the author of a study or post

How to request deletion

1. Email mike@mhutchins.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my data".
2. If you can't use that address, tell us which sign-in you used (Facebook, Google, or email) and your name, and we'll help verify your account another way.
3. We'll delete your data within 30 days and email you to confirm once it's done.

If you signed in with Facebook

You can also stop smoke.study from receiving any further information from Facebook:

1. On Facebook, open Settings & privacy → Settings.
2. Select Apps and websites.
3. Find smoke.study and select Remove.

Removing the app stops future sharing. To delete what we already have, email us as described above.
